19 new, 82 active cases of COVID-19

November 2, 2020

The Macon County Health Department announces 19 new cases of COVID-19 in the county.  Currently, Macon County has 82 active cases.

New cases include two females under the age of 19, one male under age 19, one male age 20-29, one female age 20-29, three males age 30-39, one female age 40-49, one male age 40-49, one male age 50-50, three females age 50-59, two males age 60-69, two males age 70-79 and one female age 70-79.

These new cases were spread multiple ways: 10 were community spread, two were due to out of county work, three were school related, three were household contacts of previously reported positives and one is unknown.

At the time of this release, the following reflects cases of COVID-19 in Macon County –

  • 82 active cases
  • 8 hospitalized (included in the active case count)
  • 2 deaths
  • 274 released from isolation
  • 356 total cases

The state of Missouri currently reports 188,186 total cases of COVID-19 in the state.

17 new, 337 total cases of COVID-19

(Macon County, MO) – The Macon County Health Department announces 17 new cases of COVID-19 in the county.  Currently, there are 68 active cases.

New cases include one female under 19, one female age 20-29, two males age 20-29, two females age 30-39, three females age 40-49, one male age 50-59, two males age 60-69, two males age 60-69, one male age 70-79, one male age 70-79 and one female age 80-89.

Of the new cases, 15 are community spread, one is a household to a previously reported positive and one is school related.

At the time of this press release, the following reflects cases of COVID-19 in Macon County –

  • 68 active cases
  • 7 hospitalized (included in the active case count)
  • 2 deaths
  • 269 released from isolation
  • 337 total cases

31 active, 261 total positive cases of COVID-19

October 15, 2020

The Macon County Health Department announces 10 new cases of COVID-19 in the county.  One was confirmed on Monday October 12th, four were confirmed on Tuesday October 13th and five were confirmed on Wednesday October 14th.  Currently, we have 31 active cases in the community.

New cases include three females under the age of 19, one female age 20-29, one male age 40-49, one male age 50-59, two males age 60-69, one female age 70-79 and one male age 70-79.

Eight of the new cases were community spread, one was a household contact to a previously reported positive and one was contracted out of county.

At the time of this release, the following reflects COVID-19 in Macon County –

  • 31 active positive cases (in isolation)
  • 2 hospitalized (included in the active case count)
  • 230 released from isolation
  • 261 total positive cases

The Macon County Health Department announces 8 new cases of COVID-19.  Currently, there are 19 active cases in the county.

New cases include two males under the age of 19, one male age 20-29, one female age 20-29, two females age 30-39, one male age 40-49 and one female age 50-59.  Five new cases are community spread, one is a household contact of a positive and two are due to out of county work.

At the time of this press release, the following reflects cases of COVID-19 in the county –

  • 19 active cases (in isolation)
  • 1 hospitalized (included in the active case count)
  • 214 released from isolation
  • 233 total positive cases

The state of Missouri current reports 135,651 positive cases of COVID-19.

211 positive cases of COVID-19

The Macon County Health Department announces 4 new cases of COVID-19.  The county currently has 17 active cases of COVID-19.

New cases include two males under 19, one female age 30-39 and one male 40-49.  Three new cases are related to school and one is community spread.

At the time of this press release, the following reflects cases of COVID-19 in Macon County –

  • 17 active cases
  • 0 hospitalized
  • 194 released from isolation
  • 211 positive cases

The state of Missouri currently reports 123,406 positive cases of COVID-19.
